He may be the star of CBS's new show Battle Creek, but apparently that isn't stopping Josh Duhamel (ex-Leo duPres) from reaching for more.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is the latest cast addition to Beyond Deceit, a legal thrilled that marks the directorial debut of screenwriter Shintaro Shimosawa. Duhamel has taken the place of original castmember Dan Stevens (who dropped out due to a conflict with Disney's live-action remake of Beauty and the Beast) in the role of an ambitious young lawyer who takes on a large case against a heartless executive of a pharmaceutical company and finds himself drawn into a murder case in which he is the prime suspect.
Anthony Hopkins is set to play the big exec, while Al Pacino will play the head of the law firm and mentor to Duhamel's character.
Malin Akerman, Byung-hun Lee, Leah McKendrick, Glen Powell, and Alice Eve have also been cast in the film.
