Fans of former As the World Turns actress Alexandra Chando (ex-Maddie Coleman) will be happy to hear that the daytime alum is back on television tonight -- and the added bonus is that the role is a comedic one.
The Pennsylvania native took to Instagram to tease that she'll be dusting off her sitcom skills on tonight's episode of the CBS series The Neighborhood opposite "some of the best comedians out there."
Created by Jim Reynolds, The Neighborhood follows a white midwestern family as they adjust to moving into a predominantly African American neighborhood in Los Angeles. Chando's episode, titled "Welcome to the Dinner Guest," stars the actress as Chloe, the new girlfriend of Marty (Marcel Spears). When Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) and Tina (Tichina Arnold) insist Marty invite her over for dinner, the results are more than surprising.

Chando played the role of ATWT's Maddie from 2005 to 2010. She later went on to play the lead role in the short-lived series The Lying Game and has made appearances on television series like Castle, The Vampire Diaries, and Hawaii Five-0.
