The Bold and the Beautiful's Tanner Novlan (Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan) and his wife, actress Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin RamÃrez), are thrilled to share that they've finally been able to bring their new baby home from the hospital. The pair welcomed Jones Douglas seven weeks early on June 6, and the premature infant has remained in the NICU at Cedars Sinai Hospital since that time. Fortunately, as Ewell shares, he's "finally home where he belongs!"
The actress took to Instagram to announce the heartwarming news, posting a video set to Leon Bridges' "Coming Home" that shows the family readying their new addition for the journey out of the hospital. Novlan can be heard asking his tiny son, "Do you want to say goodbye to all your nurses?"
The video then shows the couple driving home with Jones safely secured in the car before it cuts to a clip of their three-year-old daughter, Poppy, who is excited to meet her new baby brother.
Ewell also shared her gratitude to everyone at Cedars Sinai who helped bring baby Jones into the world and made sure he was ready to come home. "To all the nurses and doctors at Cedars Sinai NICU, we can't thank you enough for all you've done to help us get here," she enthused. "We're so grateful and so excited to have him home."
The next day, Novlan took to Instagram with a post of him holding baby Jones in bed, sharing, "Long night but a great morning. So happy to have our lil man home."
