Chrishell Hartley is back to work at Days of our Lives, reprising her role as Jordan Ridgeway.
It's been more than three years since Hartley -- known then as Chrishell Stause -- last set foot in Salem, and this time around, the actress promises that her character's story will "definitely not" be what fans saw the last time around.
"I love it here," Hartley tells Soap Opera Digest. "It's definitely not what we did last time... The audience will be surprised."
Jordan never seemed to gain traction during the character's first outing. In fact, in a special 2016 "Summer of Swaps" feature, Soap Central's DAYS Two Scoops columnists had suggested that Hartley would have been better served had she been cast as Cassie Brady. You can read why (as well as some other suggested casting swaps here.)
As for what Hartley has been up to since fans last saw her on Days of our Lives, the actress had a short-term role on The Young and the Restless, and, perhaps more importantly, in October 2017, she and This Is Us star Justin Hartley (ex-Adam Newman, Y&R; ex-Fox Crane, Passions) tied the knot.
Hartley is already back on the DAYS set, but, as fans probably know by now, DAYS' production schedule means that she won't be seen until sometime in early 2019.
