General Hospital's Tequan Richmond (T.J. Ashford) may not have won this year's Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor, but the talented actor has won the hearts of millions of fans of the ABC soap who have been missing him since he was dropped to recurring status earlier this spring.
Fortunately for viewers who can't get enough of Shawn's son, his on-screen mom, Vinessa Antoine (Jordan Ashford), has some good news. "A little birdy told me that there might a #TJ sighting in #PortCharles soon!" she wrote on Twitter, adding, "Bout to get real @TdashRICH #Gh"
As fans know, Richmond took a short break from GH several months ago to film an untitled coming-of-age Showtime drama series in Chicago and was then dropped to recurring status at the ABC soap when too many other projects piled up on his plate. "I have things lined up a little bit, which is great, but I hope that when I get back [to California], maybe I can come in and do a few days [at GH]," he said at the time. "It would be cool if they sprinkle me in because I'm sure people would like to see Molly [Haley Pullos] and T.J. again and Shawn [Sean Blakemore] -- we never got to continue that storyline -- so of course I would love to do that."
T.J. and Molly did have a reunion, of sorts, on the red carpet at this year's Daytime Emmys. To see our exclusive video, click here.
At this time, there's no word on whether or not T.J.'s dad, Shawn (Emmy-winning actor Sean Blakemore), will also be appearing with his son on-screen.
