The Young and the Restless is seeking two actresses for limited-run roles this summer.
The CBS soap is casting the role of Helen Copeland, a 40something Caucasian woman who is a trained nurse. The casting call also states that Helen was a young mother who had "an unsettled life" and, as a result, is "slightly bitter."
Helen will be featured in two episodes.
For the second role, Y&R is looking for a Caucasian woman in her 50s for the recurring role of "Maureen." The character, whose name is subject to change, is said to be "physically attractive and maintains a strong sense of self-preservation, given the hand she's been dealt."
Maureen is a longer-term role, running between six and eight weeks, with a start date near the end of July.
