Fans who have missed seeing Angell Conwell as The Young and the Restless' beautiful attorney Leslie Michaelson are in for a bit of good news regarding the character: she'll be returning to the canvas later this spring.
The actress, who joined the CBS soap in 2010, tells Soap Opera Digest that her return feels familiar. "This is a little bit like déjà vu and I've learned to just enjoy The Young and the Restless journey," she says. "I'm actually very fortunate to be the kind of character who may be kind of forgotten, but then out of the blue, she shows up again. So, it's a good feeling to know that there's still love there for Leslie."
Conwell has appeared as her attorney alter ego whenever other, more established characters are in need of legal guidance, beginning sporadically in 2010 and then building into a bigger story in 2012. As fans may recall, the last time she was seen in town was immediately following Austin's (Matthew Atkinson) 2014 trial for shooting Paul (Doug Davidson); Leslie told Avery (Jessica Collins) she was accepting an A.D.A. position and was never heard from again.
