If it isn't one thing, it's another. And this week, Internet rumors had Eric Braeden leaving his role as The Young and the Restless' patriarch, Victor Newman. But is there any truth to the gossip?
Apparently not, as the actor shared with fans via Twitter. "For all of my friends on Twitter: I am not leaving the show!" he posted. "I just signed an extension, so kindly don't ask me that question again!"
This isn't the first time the Internet has claimed that Braeden was on his way out. Three years ago, there were concerns about his potential exit -- and in 2009, Braeden himself said it was the "end of the road" for him at Y&R after contract talks broke down. Both sides eventually reached a deal.
There's no further information about how much longer the German native will be sticking around in Genoa City, but his tweet at least proves he'll be on the soap for the foreseeable future.
