The Young and the Restless' Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) received a lot of congratulations when she posted a photo of herself looking quite pregnant earlier this month, but it turns out the tummy was actually an artificial baby bump for a new role.
Grimes's caption to go along with the on-set teaser pic said, "Still hoping this pilot sees the light of day. Had so much fun working on the first episode of #TheGet."
According to IMDb, The Get stars Claire Forlani and Amy Brenneman, and it follows a team of tireless Internet journalists who pursue and expose stories of injustice, using their unconventional investigative techniques in today's anything-goes world of reporting.
While IMDb reports the series was picked up and then later rejected by CBS, there's still a chance another network might be interested in the show. If it does indeed get a green light elsewhere, fans of Grimes likely don't have to worry about her role interfering with Y&R: her character for the project is listed as "pregnant Amy," meaning it's probably not a major role.
Grimes joined Y&R in 1997 and played the role of Cassie on-again, off-again until 2014. She now appears as Cassie's twin sister, Mariah.
